Goal. The purpose of the article is to determine the characteristics of the operational-search characteristics of the kidnapping of minors. Method. The methodology includes a detailed comprehensive analysis and synthesis of available scientific and theoretical material on the raised issues, on the basis of which grounded worldview conclusions and recommendations on the disclosure of the essence of the concepts under study are made. In addition, most of the signs are linked by the very ultimate goal of kidnapping a young child. Scientific novelty.
