Fedyk L.B. Legal culture of participants of electoral process in Eastern Galicia of the end of XIX – the beginning of the ХХ century

Analyzed legal culture of various categories of subjects of the electoral process in Galicia of the late XIX – early XX century. Factors influencing legal culture are established. It is shown through abusive facts that the organizers of the elections showed a low level of legal culture. At the same time, voters, due to the low educational level, difficult material situation and interethnic contradictions, showed a skepticism about their electoral rights, legal infantilism. At the same time, the determining characteristic of the voters of Galicia was respect for the law and the desire to act within its framework.
