Dovhanych V. А. The ideology of the social-democratic direction and the stages of its transformation in the legal consciousness of Galicians late XIX – early XX century

The article reveals the peculiarities of the formation and genesis of the ideology of the Social-Democratic type among Galician thinkers. The attention is focused on the legal views of I. Franko and Pavlik. It is argued that the development of the ideology of social democracy in Galicia conditioned the legal system of Austria-Hungary, whose constitution was liberal in nature and did not prohibit the development of various ideological trends.
