The article examines the issue of the current state of legal regulation of operational-search counteraction to crimes against sexual freedom and sexual inviolability of the person. In particular, the author considers the normative acts regulating the outlined question by distributing the latter into three groups, those that define the human right to sexual freedom and sexual integrity of the person and proclaim the impossibility of such a violation; those that define the basic organizational and legal provisions for the implementation of operational-search counteraction to crimes against sexual freedom and sexual inviolability of the person; those that determine the organizational and tactical features of individual events and actions in the process of operational-search counteraction to crimes against sexual freedom and sexual inviolability of the person. In addition, when reviewing the regulations of each group, the author highlights the problematic aspects based on the analysis of empirical material and suggests promising ways to eliminate them.
